Chris Jackson

Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries

As the youth director, Chris loves building disciples of youth and finding many different outlets for the youth to find God. Chris is also involved with the choir, men’s group, and different committees that keep me connected to the life of the church. Chris' role at Smoky Hill is much more connectional and relational to people and to help form the best community we can have as we strive to build the kingdom.

My wife Sarah and I moved to Colorado in June of 2014. We have two beautiful daughters, Regina and Lucy. The girls are 5 and 1. Once here, I got my start in serving through camp ministry. I was invited to come be a counselor at Grand Mesa Camp on the Western Slope and it was a week that completely changed my life! I felt after that week that if I ever got the chance to do this as a job, I would. And roughly nine months after that experience, this opportunity at Smoky Hill presented itself. It has had its up and downs like most jobs, but I feel blessed and destined to be a part of this fabulous community! I will always return to camp because of the way God worked in me there and the incredible opportunities it has afforded me. God is good! All the time!
