I am, Holly Davan, the Director of the Smoky Hill United Methodist Preschool. I am in charge of bringing in wonderful kiddos and families, getting them ready for public school and teaching them to be followers of Christ. We meet Monday thru Friday and have approximately 100 children enrolled, with 11 staff members.
Crystal is responsible for coordinating Sunday School classes for children age 2-10 years. Crystal also organizes many children activities like Trunk R Treat, Christmas Programs, All Church Campouts, GOD Talks and Walks, 3rd Grade Bibles and many more fun activities. Crystal is also on the Technology Team, Youth Sponsor and staff Liaison to Preschool board and United Methodist Women.
As the youth director, Chris loves building disciples of youth and finding many different outlets for the youth to find God. Chris is also involved with the choir, men’s group, and different committees that keep me connected to the life of the church. Chris' role at Smoky Hill is much more connectional and relational to people and to help form the best community we can have as we strive to build the kingdom.
Donna wears many different hats! As the Administrative Coordinator, she is responsible for managing the church calendar, room assignments, and many other property management tasks. Donna is also part of the communications & media team, manages many church databases, is the Trustee Liaison, and IT Coordinator. As Cradle Care Coordinator, Donna manages the nursery schedule and staffing, nursery programming, and she ensures the nursery staff is properly trained.
Carol is responsible for communications to the congregation through production of weekly bulletins and announcements by collecting and consolidating information from staff and members on various ministries, programs, and groups. She creates brochures for the stewardship campaign, annual reports, advent devotionals, and special inserts as needed.
